Dave + Liz tied the knot at their intimate garden inspired wedding. Their day began at the Lafayette Hotel, where Liz got ready for her big day. I love this historic boutique hotel! Every detail of the day really represented Dave & Liz as a couple. There was so much personality in this wedding day! Even the stones in Liz's ring were symbolic for the couple. They chose birthstones, instead of the traditional diamond, for gorgeous and unique wedding rings- which they had custom made locally in San Diego.

They had a gorgeous garden wedding ceremony in Balboa Park. These two lovebirds said 'I do' in the Alcazar Garden. The beautiful Spanish-style garden and architecture provided a stunning backdrop for this Saturday afternoon wedding. Even though the park was crowded, these two had a really amazing moment together during their first look! So adorable and in love! These two were definitely excited to become husband and wife!

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a beautiful garden inspired reception at the couple's home. Dave + Liz have an amazing urban garden in their backyard, and they wanted to share that with their family and friends. Fruit trees were labeled, and guests were able to enjoy in-season fruits picked straight from the branch (the pomegranates and jujubes were amazing!). The Zzymzzy Quartet was an amazing choice for a live band!

I am also crazy about Liz's more comfortable second wedding dress, that she chose to wear during the reception. It came from Nordstrom, and was an excellent choice!
