Coronado Wedding Anniversary Photo Shoot (3 Years and Counting!)
Catherine and Max tied the knot three years ago on Coronado island, with their pups on the dog beach! These two are from Colorado, and for their third anniversary, they returned to San Diego to enjoy and re-visit the place they got married. Catherine surprised Max with a romantic sunset photo session on the Del beach. The beaches on Coronado island are absolutely stunning, and the incredible architecture of the Hotel del Coronado made every angle easy to photograph at this gorgeous location!
Catherine prepared some really fun props for their engagement shoot. She made a really awesome DIY burlap pennant banner- that she totally let me keep for my prop collection! They also brought photographs from their wedding day. We had some fun recreating the same poses with the photo in the photo. She also bought a really great number three prop from Hobby Lobby.
Catherine got her hair done at a really adorable dry bar before the shoot. Blow Pop Dry Bar specializes in different types of styling options. I love that her hair was picture perfect for out shoot!
Before the session, Catherine and I threw around ideas through e-mail and Pinterest. We were able to use lots of her ideas when the actual session came around! I had a great time documented their third year of marriage! I absolutely love the idea of taking the time to have romantic portraits taken as the years go by. What a beautiful way to watch your marriage grow. Wishing Catherine & Max many more happy years together!
