Cincinnati Engagement Photo Session at Eden Park
Matt & Sarah met in college at the University of Dayton, where they will be tying the knot later this year. For their engagement session, they wanted to have their photos taken in Cincinnati- their current home city. The locations we used helped to tell the story and create a certain vibe in the photos.
The first place we used to set the story was Matt & Sarah’s home. Having your engagement photos taken in your home has a lot of benefits. We were able to use personal details around the home to help tell the story. The Ohio coaster was a great background for a photo of the engagement ring. Not only does it establish where they live, it was also a gift that Matt got for Sarah, so it made the photograph extra special. In home engagement sessions are really wonderful. There is just so much story to tell when you choose your home as a location for your engagement photos.
The second place we went during our photo session was Eden Park in Cincinnati. Eden park is set on a hilltop that overlooks the Ohio River and the Cincinnati skyline. It’s pretty much the perfect place for engagement photos! There are so many great spots to use within the park. Matt & Sarah had a winter engagement session, so it was pretty chilly up on the hill. They both wore comfy sweaters to prepare for the cold. Their Eden Park engagement photos are some of my favorites!
