Romantic + Fun Church Wedding: La Mesa, CA

I met Erika and Josh a few months ago, and have had the pleasure of getting to know them a little bit before their big day. These two are so perfect for each other! Their adorable engagement session was so much fun to photograph. Capturing the special moments on their big day was an absolutely honor.

The day began with a first look with the bride and groom at their church and venue, New Life Presbyterian Church in La Mesa. It was a gorgeous place to get married, and we had fun exploring and taking some bridal party photos! This group was so much fun to work with, and their expressions were hilarious! After a quick pre-ceremony huddle, Erika and Josh tied the knot in front of all of their family and friends.

Erika looked absolutely stunning in a mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline from David’s Bridal. I love that the maid of honor and best man had pink as their color, and the rest of the bridal party wore blue. It was a really great way to set them apart from the rest of the bridal party!

Even Erika's out-of-this-world adorable nephew was full of tears! (cutest. ever.)

PBX Photo booth did an amazing job at the reception. Guests had so much fun hopping in the photo booth for some fun candid shots they could take home with them- and their prop selection was incredible!

This daytime wedding was so much fun! Even the bride and her father had fun during their dance- breaking out into an upbeat choreographed number mid-slow song!

I love their football cake topper! So absolutely fitting, considering this couple met at the gym where Erika used to work. Josh used to call Erika 'Front Desk Girl'- now he can call her his wife! Aw! Wishing Erika & Josh the happiest ever after!

Enjoy the sneak peek from Erika and Josh’s big day! If you are getting married in San Diego, send me a quick message and tell me about your wedding story! I would love to help capture your special moments!
