Get ready for some seriously pretty wedding inspiration! This styled shoot was so much fun to put together. We were so excited to photograph this gorgeous bridal ball gown from Simply Bridal. We wanted mix a really modern and whimsical Southwestern bohemian type of vibe with this classic, simple wedding dress. Every element of this garden shoot is bright, bold and geometric- from the pattern of her statement necklace and his tie to the structure of the gardens that we chose for the location.

The Alcazar Garden at Balboa Park is one of the best locations for post-wedding portraits in San Diego, so we decided to use it for our styled shoot. The Spanish-style gardens are structured and colorful, and the light in the garden is incredible no matter what time of day it is. It’s really an ideal place for some romantic photos of the bride & groom!

The couple modeling for this shoot is super special- Ben works with us on your photography team as a second shooter and lighting assistant. He was kind enough to volunteer himself and his girlfriend Layla as models. They did a very splendid job playing the roles of joyful newlyweds- it really is all about capturing that great and unique connection between couples! These two have a great connection, and we got some really fun and beautiful moments during our styled shoot! Enjoy!
