Elope in San Diego!

Last Friday evening, Shanita and Bob tied the knot in a romantic garden gazebo in Mission Valley. They flew from Michigan to elope someplace warmer. These two were young, fun and full of life, excited to start their journey together.

In the moments before their ceremony, both bride and groom seemed nervous, excited and completely in love.

Their ceremony was intimate and beautiful. The couple was accompanied by the officiant, myself and my assistant. A garden gazebo was the perfect setting for such a beautifully intimate affair. This garden gazebo was well hidden. Upon arriving, my assistant and I weren't even sure we had found the right location! Inside, it was absolutely perfect.

As Shanita walked toward her groom, she was absolutely glowing. I love how Bob couldn't take his eyes off her.

They made it official and sealed it with a kiss!

The perfect details for a romantic destination elopement! I love how Shanita accessorized with purple. Her fun purple necklace, the wrap around her bouquet and Bob's boutineer all coordinated perfectly!

Shanita was an absolutely stunning bride. She wore the perfect white wedding dress to elope in California! This dress was a fabulous find by Ralph Lauren and Shanita definitely rocked it! Her sparkly open toed pumps were the perfect match; and she made this darling birdcage veil herself! I love a bride who can DIY!

As we finished dotting the i's and crossing the t's, these two were so excited to be husband and wife!

After these two tied the knot, we headed to Sunset Cliffs for a post-ceremony photo session. The ocean air was cool, but these two weren't phased by the chill in the air. The moment was rich with excitement, and the sunset a perfect backdrop for a romantic evening.

These two will definitely have an amazing journey together! Best of luck to Shanita and Bob! If you are getting married or eloping in San Diego and are looking for a photographer- please contact me for booking!
