Travel Inspired San Diego Engagement Session
Happy Thanksgiving! There is so much to be thankful for this year, and as everyone travels to see their family and friends this holiday season, don't forget to hold those you love even closer. This recent travel-inspired engagement session was absolutely charming- I am so excited to share! Jessica & Josue love to travel together, and wanted to do a travel inspired engagement session.
Just a couple of details went a long way to style their photo shoot, and help tell the story. We used two locations for this engagement session- beginning the story at the Santa Fe Train Depot in downtown San Diego, and ending it in true San Diego style- with a gorgeous Coronado beach sunset. This particular spot on the beach, behind the Del on Coronado, was special because that's where Josue asked Jessica to be his wife (and she said YES!).
The simple styling of this engagement session is really perfect- just a couple of vintage suitcases and a quick wardrobe change helped make this photo shoot complete. Their engagement session happened to be within a few days of their wedding day, so they were able to use a few props they had rented from Sparrow Bridal Boutique for both the wedding & engagement without having to budget anything extra for engagement session prop rentals. This obviously isn't always an option, but if you have something awesome laying around to be used on the big day- consider also using it for the engagement session!
Enjoy this elegant travel inspired engagement session! A huge congratulations to the Mr. & Mrs.! Wishing you a happiest ever after!
