Woodsy Fall Engagement Session
When it comes to engagement sessions, this fall photo shoot in the woods is an absolute dream. We found some gorgeous light, and the giant trees were the perfect romantic background for some engagement photos. This eucalyptus grove is one of my favorite spots in all of San Diego. It actually looks like this year round. The trails are gorgeous, and even if the surrounding area is bustling, the woods are always peaceful.
Choosing the right time of day to shoot in the woods is always key. Earlier in the morning, or late in the afternoon would generally be best for shooting in the woods. The golden light goes away just a little bit earlier here than along the coast. Another important detail for this shoot was excellent shoe choice. Since they both had on nice boots, we were able to easily walk around the environment, and really take advantage of all it had to offer. Just a little planning for the location goes a long way in making the most of your engagement session.
